Wave to Us on the Fourth of July

July 1, 2008. We hope that everyone has a safe and festive Fourth of July. If you’d like to start your day off in a patriotic way, come out and wave to us at the Highlands Ranch 4th of July parade. We will be participating with our very first Encore float, demonstrating some gymnastic skills and passing out treats to everyone that we see. The parade starts at 9:00 am and travels around the Highlands Ranch Town Center area. For additional parade details you can go to www.hrcaonline.org.
Join Us for our 2nd Annual Open House

July 30, 2008. We are holding our second annual Open House on Saturday, August 2nd from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We want to welcome new families and to thank those families who were an important part of our first year of operation. Please stop by the gym to say hello and accept our thanks for your support. We will be serving hot dogs and snacks. We will also have gymnastics and cheer demonstrations, door prize drawings and other surprises.
Eagles Do Well at State

June 15, 2008. Our Eagles teams capped off a successful first season with an outstanding performance at the State meet. The meet, held on June 14th and 15th in Vail, Colorado, featured 24 teams from all over the state. The Level 4 team finished third in the state. Led by All-Around Champion Kaysi Koslov (38.325), the team also had solid performances by Emma Peterson, (37.30), Courtney Higgins (37.075) and Tori (37.125). Hannah Lovell and Olivia Guarino also made major contributions while first year competitors Samantha Flower and Ashley Zoerner turned in solid routines. Kaysi’s score was the highest of the meet, better than any age group of any competing level.

The Level 7 Optional Team finished a strong fourth in the state. Led by 4th place State champion Amanda Clements (37.55), there were also exceptional performances by Kristyn Kellner (35.575), Liz Pennock (35.30) and Katie Peters (35.575), with solid routines by Kelsey Krebsbach, Liz Pennock, Kayla Staebell and Lauren Gennaro.

Katie Gratrix, our only Level 8 Optional gymnast finished second with a strong 35.475 score.

The girls celebrated their successful first year with a picnic on June 21, honoring graduating senior Kristyn Kellner A plaque honoring our first graduate will hang proudly at the gym.
Summer Camps

July 1, 2008. Do the kids need to burn a bit more energy this summer? Consider our July summer camps. Each 4-day camp runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and includes lunch. This gymnastics intensive camp also includes inside and outside games, crafts and tons of fun.
