USAG Team Update

October 14, 2011. Our USAG team girls are off to a great start to the season. Our Level 4, 5 and 6 teams all competed in their first meet of the season at Gymnastics Plus on August 27th. All of our competing Level 6 gymnasts qualified to move on to Level 7 Optional competition this winter and are now working towards the Level 7 season which will begin in January. The level 4 and 5’s all had a great first meet. They are looking forward to the rest of the season with their next meet on October 12th at the Colorado Judges Cup. Let’s wish them all good luck!

Our USAG Boys’ teams are also working hard towards the start of competition in November. After an amazing second place finish in the state meet last year, both our Level 4 and Level 5 teams are looking forward to a successful season.

Trick or Treat Street

October 17, 2011. Encore Gymnastics Academy will again be participating in Highlands Ranch’s Trick or Treat Street. The annual event, sponsored by the Highlands Ranch Community Association, will be held at the HRCA Eastridge Recreation Center Saturday,
October 29 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Gymnastics staff and students will be there to promote our programs and, of course, to pass out Dum Dums to all the kids. This year we will also host an outdoor play and tumble area (weather permitting). The event attracts about 3,000 costumed children, so please stop by our table to say hello.

Encore Announces Additiona Open Gyms

October 10, 2011. Encore will continue to offer its regularly scheduled open gym on Saturday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. In addition, we have identified a number of special open gyms to accommodate holiday and school breaks so the kids can get out and burn off some energy. All of these open gyms run from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The schedule is as follows:
