USAG Team Update

December 5, 2011. Our USAG girls compulsory season will be wrapping up soon, and then it is straight into the optional girls season. The Level 5 team is off the their state competition on December 10th and 11th. The Level 4 team will have their state competition on December 17th and 18th. The optional girls are preparing and practicing very hard for their competition season to start. Their first meet will be held on January 14th at NGV in Colorado Springs. Encore is very proud of each one of them and we wish them all the best of luck in their upcoming events.

On a related note, We say “congratulations” to our Level 4 and Level 5 boy’s team! They finished 2nd at their first meet of the season on November 19th at the Colorado Judges Cup. They have been hard at work and the results are paying off. Good Job Guys. Their next meet will be December 17th in Golden. Meet schedules for our Optional girls teams and our boys teams will be posted at the gym. Come out to cheer them on and learn more about what competitive gymnastics is all about.

Encore Announces Additiona Open Gyms

October 10, 2011. Encore will continue to offer its regularly scheduled open gym on Saturday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. In addition, we have identified a number of special open gyms to accommodate holiday and school breaks so the kids can get out and burn off some energy. All of these open gyms run from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The schedule is as follows:

Inclement Weather / Make-Ups

December 1, 2011. As we approach the winter season, we want to again remind you of our notification system regarding bad weather and the cancellation of classes. We will continue to follow the lead of the Douglas County School System. If there is a school closing for all of Douglas County or for the Thunder Ridge feeder area, then we will cancel all morning pre-school classes. With regard to afternoon and after-school classes, we will make a determination regarding cancellation by 1:00 pm and post a message on our phone service answering machine. We will also attempt to post such notice on the home page of our web-site at www.egacademy.com. Make-ups can be scheduled for classes canceled due to weather conditions,
